I first started teaching in 2005 and there have been many changes in the classroom since then. Until 2023 I was the teacher quietly heckling at the back of PD sessions and just waiting for management to move on to the newest latest and greatest thing. That all changed in 2023.

What teachers need more of is time and, I believe, that is what AI can help with. Lessons in seconds. Personalisation and differentiation in real time. What’s not to love about that?

I really believe that AI in education can help everyone but to many teachers it is too scary or feels like just another fad. This is my attempt to reach a hand out to anyone starting the same journey I am on.
